- How to Play
Simply select five main numbers from 1 to 50 and then two additional Euro numbers from 1 to 10. As the Euro numbers are drawn from a different set of balls to the main numbers, it is possible for the same number to appear as both a main number and a Euro number in the same result.
You can select your own numbers or use the ‘Quick Pick’ option when buying tickets to randomly generate a set of numbers. Alternatively, you can use the Random Number Generator before you purchase your ticket to find a set of numbers you like.
There are 12 prize tiers on offer in Eurojackpot, and anyone who matches all five main numbers and both Euro numbers in the draw will win a share of the jackpot, which starts at €10 million. If nobody matches all of the numbers in a draw, the jackpot will roll over into the next draw, until it reaches its cap of €90 million.

- EuroJackpot game principles. On the EuroJackpot playing ticket, five numbers between 1 and 50 are initially ticked. Then, in a second field, two “Euro numbers” between 1 and 10 are selected. Game participation costs 2.00 euros per filled out playing field (7 ticks).
How Do You Play EuroJackpot Online? Play EuroJackpot by choosing five main numbers from a guess range of 1-50, and two additional numbers from a separate guess range of 1-10, and you can do this online in the same manner as if purchasing your tickets in person at a retailer.
Eurojackpot tickets can be bought online or through authorised retail stores in a participating country.
Play Eurojackpot Online
Buying Eurojackpot tickets online is the easiest and safest way to play, as your tickets will be stored in your online account and automatically checked on your behalf. If you win a prize, you will be notified straight away and the winnings will be paid into your account for you to withdraw or use on future ticket purchases. Getting started with playing online is simple:
- Open an online account with the lottery operator in your country
- Complete your account registration (this may include verifying your age)
- Add funds to your account
- Buy Eurojackpot tickets using your account balance
Play Eurojackpot via a Retail Store
If you live in a participating country, you can play Eurojackpot by buying tickets from an authorised retail store. Play cards will be available for you to mark out which numbers you want to play. After that, you hand the play card to the cashier to receive a ticket confirming your numbers and the draw (or draws) for which the ticket is valid. You will need to keep your ticket safe, as it will act as proof of your winnings if you win a prize. You should also sign the back of your ticket to demonstrate proof of ownership and to avoid legal disputes should you lose the ticket and someone else tries to claim the prize.
Playing Eurojackpot from a Non-Participating Country
If you’re on holiday or are living in a non-participating country, you can still buy Eurojackpot tickets. Visit the Playing Abroad page for more details.
Play NowComparison between Playing Online or via a Retail Store
The following comparison shows the differences between playing Eurojackpot online or buying tickets from an authorised retail store.
Playing Online: | Playing at a Retail Store: | |
---|---|---|
Convenience | Purchase tickets from anywhere you might be located. | Tickets can only be purchased from authorised retail stores. |
Availability | Tickets can be purchased at a time that suits you. | Tickets can only be purchased during store opening hours. |
Security | Tickets are stored in your online account, eliminating the possibility of your ticket being lost, damaged or stolen. | Your printed ticket is your only proof of purchase. If it is lost, damaged or stolen it is unlikely that you will be able to claim any prizes you might have won. |
